The training includes a written exam and evaluates each candidate’s ability to present the Mental Health First Aid course to a variety of audiences. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and we recommend applying 6 to 8 weeks prior to your preferred course training date. The majority of the Instructor Training programme will be spent learning the content of the MHFA Two Day course, and while you will be given tips on how to best deliver this, you will be assessed on your delivery. Building Mental Health has secured funding from the CITB for Mental Health First Aid England to deliver 24 Construction bespoke, MHFA Instructor Courses. Each course can take 12 candidates.
